ABOUT US
LORINA RIGAUX
(She/her) is the original course author for an undergraduate EDI class called “Work and Gender” at the University of Calgary. Lorina taught “Work and Gender” three times (2019, 2021, 2022) and won the “2022 Dean’s Teaching Award for Unparalleled Learning” for designing and delivering this highly personal and highly practical learning opportunity to her students.
While “Work and Gender” focuses more on gender, Lorina advocates for organizational interventions that combat and augment diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging from an intersectional lens.
As a neurodivergent Métis parent of small children, including an autistic child, Lorina understands the importance of understanding workplace bias from a multitude of perspectives. As such, Work Together Canada (WTC) wants to hear your employee’s voices, understand your DEI journey, and help you achieve your EDI vision. WTC will collaborate with you to eradicate bias from your organization’s policies, processes, and culture.
